On September 24 2006 Kamil was injured in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. His life was in great danger and he had to undergo three head surgieries. Kamil spent many months in coma but he is alive and there has been considerable improvement in the functioning of his body. He is still bedridden but due to rehabilitation his muscles gain strength and he can communicate logically.

This young man deserved utmost respect for his fight for life and faith in recovery.  To achieve this goal he requires intensive rehabilitation as well as orthopedic and therapeutic equipment that will help him in his efforts. However, obstacles such as limited financial resources and numerous problems of Kamil's single mother make further treatment extremely diffcult.
